Staff Horse

A staff horse is truely one of a kind. They know when they come out of the barn, in the dark, in the wee hours of the morning, and load in a trailer, that it is going to be a good day. They long for long hard runs with, or in front, of the hounds, searching for game. They can tell the difference between a cat scooting across a field or a grey fox at a trot, from 3 miles away, in thick river fog. When they round a turn, in the woods, and are suddenly surounded by 8 or so wild turkeys flying with them, it rattles them not and it is just all in a days work. Oh and do not forget, they always know where the hounds are, and the great ones know where the game is too!
