Maxwell has hunted two full seasons with the Kimberton Hunt Club and has also been hunted with Thornton Hill Hounds in Virginia. He hunts confidently in every field.
It truly does not matter where you put this horse in the hunt field. He will stay sensible,while getting you where you need to be. He is sure footed and very brave with plenty of scope and stride. He has an extremely comfortable canter & well balanced. He is nicely educated on the flat, both in and out of the ring, moves off your leg, with a lead change. Max’s always tries to please.He stands at the checks, is great with the hounds and commotion, he s good with other horses and is always very sensible. He is currently jumping a 1m at the horse shows, and has been shown at WEC Ohio & local horse shows. Super brave to coops, walls and natural fences. He will get gates, He goes through the water & will take you up any hill or through a thicket. He trail rides great both alone or in company. He would also make an awesome event horse. The sky is the limit for this horse. He is easy to handle and pleasure to have in the barn! He truly is one of a kind!
