‘Hollis’ is on his second year of hunting at the Mells. He has whipped in for a year and is currently hunting second flight. He is a phenomenal gelding with a lot to offer! He stands quietly at the meet and at checks, keeps up but is rateable, jumps well alone or in a group. He is cat like on his feet and seems to have a fifth leg!
He loves being a field hunter. He also events at starter / BN level.
In the hunt field he will clear anything you point him at. He will jump from trot or canter, he is quick at the gates and will stand patiently for you to fix the latch.
He does crib in the stall. He will come with his collar.
We have not had any health issues. He is up to date on all vaccines, coggins etc.
He clips without sedation, loads on any trailer, is good for the farrier. Great to catch.
He goes out with a group of gelding and is #2 in the herd.
